Cheryl has been the managing director of ERA's Chicago office since 1989. Her practice draws from over 30 years of consulting with a focus on market analysis, financial forecasting, and strategic plans. Clients include private real estate entities (developers, land owners, lenders), public sector agencies of all types, and institutions. She has integrated these skills to prepare master planned development and public-private redevelopment plans for a variety of projects.
She has assisted 25 communities in the conversion of BRAC military bases back to civilian use, including an experimental City Base concept at Brooks AFB in San Antonio. For the Department of Veteran Affairs, she has provided direction at 10 medical centers for leasing opportunities of surplus property, as well as the DOE Miamisburg Mound, a former nuclear explosives facility. Finally, her public work includes downtown revitalization, neighborhood business districts, and transportation economics.
In the private sector her work includes office, hotel, resort, housing, entertainment, retail; she has developed a golf practice as well, and has completed over 30 municipal and private golf analyses, including golf / residential and golf / resort. Most of Cheryl’s work is US based, but she has also worked in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
Cheryl has an M.S. degree in real estate and urban land economics from UCLA's School of Management.
