David has participated in a broad range of economic development and planning projects. In particular, he has worked intensively on issues surrounding the formation of urban and regional development strategies and the role of culture industries in economic development.
Since joining ERA in 1994, David has been a leader in a variety of the firm’s practice groups. With a strong background in public policy analysis, and the communication of economic development goals to community stakeholders, his practice has centered around many interrelated disciplines including Film Industry, Convention Centers and Tourism, Economic Impact Analyses and General Plan Economics, Cultural Heritage and Historic Preservation.
David has a graduate degree from UCLA and teaches urban planning and development at the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
