Jeff Cohen, Principal


A principal in the Los Angeles office, Mr. Cohen has extensive consulting experience with numerous sports venues. Many of the projects are for financing purposes. Mr. Cohen has relationships with many of the financing institutions that concentrate on sports financing and many of the sports architectural firms. Mr. Cohen has been the Director of Sports Facilities Consulting at ERA since 1998.

Jeff has prepared numerous market, financial and economic impact analysis for proposed sports venues throughout the United States and abroad. The clients are both from the respective municipalities and the franchise / developer.


Major league sports projects include stadiums for Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL) and Major League Soccer (MLS), and arenas for National Hockey League (NHL) and National Basketball Association (NBA) anchor tenants.


Numerous stadium and arena analysis have been completed for venues that host minor league sports franchises as well as Major League Baseball spring training venues.


In addition to arena and stadium analysis, Jeff has experience in assisting with bid documents for countries / cities to host major world events (ie Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, etc.). Prior to joining ERA, Mr. Cohen was a senior member at Deloitte & Touche in the Sports and Entertainment Consulting Practice.


Jeff received a bachelor’s from California State University, Northridge in Real Estate and Finance.
