Josh recently joined ERA in 2006 from the United States, with over 10 years of consulting and operational experience in the hospitality, real estate and finance industries. Since joining ERA he has consulted on several mixed-use and resort-related projects in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Central Asia. With extensive experience in hotel and real estate developments, Josh brings strong economic and financial modeling skills to the firm. Examples of these include feasibility analyses, project investment returns, P&L analyses, cash flows and hotel/real estate valuations. His in-depth knowledge of both large-scale mixed-use developments and small boutique operations allows him to assess both the micro and macro components of any size project.
Prior to ERA, Josh was the Senior Feasibility Analyst for Kerzner International Resorts, owner and operator of the Atlantis and One & Only Resorts. He has also worked in operations and sales & marketing at The Mark, a five-star Mandarin Oriental hotel in New York City, as well as hotel/real estate consulting for PKF in Los Angeles, and in finance and banking in New York City and Johannesburg, South Africa. Josh holds an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, and a BA in International Business from the American University of Paris. He is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
