Melissa Mayer joined ERA’s Chicago office in 2002. She has broad management and analytical experience in market and financial feasibility studies, economic impact analyses, and related assessments in more than 20 states across the country. As a member of ERA’s Entertainment and Recreation Practice Group, she has evaluated zoos, museums, indoor and outdoor waterparks, park facilities, and other entertainment or tourism-oriented attractions. She also advises on mixed-use, transit-oriented, and traditional neighborhood developments that often relate to redevelopment and revitalization strategies. Melissa's experience includes working with both private and public sector clientele.
Prior to joining ERA, Melissa worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Financial Advisory Services. While there, she performed valuation analyses for various types of commercial property including office, industrial, branch banks, high-density residential, senior living, and rights-of-way. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with a double major in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Marketing.
