Molly McKay, Senior Associate


Molly joined ERA in 2002. She brings more than 15 years of experience managing international and domestic real estate and urban development projects. She typically serves as project manager and financial analyst with a focus on market demand, financial feasibility, and fiscal and economic impact analysis. Molly frequently serves as an economic advisor to public planning entities and private sector developers in community planning meetings and development charrettes for a wide range of development types, including traditional neighborhood, transit oriented, resort / waterfront, commercial corridor revitalization, and downtown/mixed-use revitalization. She is also experienced in affordable/workforce housing policy and cultural/entertainment attractions planning.

Molly holds a Masters degree in International Politics and Economics with concentration in urban studies from Exeter University in England, and post-graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University’s Real Estate Finance program and the National Development Council’s Economic Development Finance Professional program. She also studied abroad at the University of Law, Economics and Political Science of Aix-Marseille in France and the Guadalajara, Mexico Language Institute and is proficient in French and Spanish. Before joining ERA, she was a manager in the Real Estate Consulting and State/Local Tax practices of Ernst & Young, and also served in program coordination roles at ULI-the Urban Land Institute and the International City/County Management Association/US Agency for International Development in Washington, DC. Molly is a member of ULI-the Urban Land Institute and the Council of Development Finance Agencies.
