Richard Warfel, Senior Associate


Richard has completed a broad range of land use economic consulting assignments during his 17-year tenure at ERA. He has specialized in development feasibility, operational analyses, and valuation of a wide variety of land uses including (1) hotels and resorts, (2) all types of golf facilities, (3) residential real estate, (4) retail and commercial, and (5) supporting amenities including clubs, ski mountains, spas, marinas, and meeting facilities. In the golf industry, services provided include clubhouse, capital improvement, facility lease, and membership structuring analyses. Increasingly, Richard provides economic and financial input in concept development and the land use master planning process.

Richard received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Davis, a Masters of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and taught hotel marketing at the Hotel School The Hague in the Netherlands for two years.
