Shuprotim is the leader of the firm’s Economic Planning and Policy practice group. His experience is in public/private development, focusing on economic and financial analyses of real estate projects, analyzing public policies, and implementing economic development plans. His practice focuses on market and economic analysis, strategic planning, and transaction-related services for real estate investors and developers, public agencies, financial institutions, and non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining ERA, Shuprotim worked as a Senior Vice President for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he led an interdisciplinary analytic team in developing initiatives for new and emergent business districts, analyzing public policies, and implementing economic development plans. He has also worked for economic development projects in Europe and Asia funded by the World Bank and the European Union. Shuprotim received his M.S. in Economics from the University at Stony Brook, New York.
